We Support

Erste Private Banking is a partner to Artotéka, a project organised by the Moravian Gallery in Brno. The project’s objective is to amass a collection of works of art created by talented contemporary artists, which private individuals and legal entities can tap into by loaning works of art for  imited periods of time. When a sizeable work of art is to be loaned, the Gallery also provides transport and installation. Artotéka started operating in October 2017 and its collection has been growing ever since with intriguing works of art being added over time. As part of the project, the Moravian Gallery also organises educational and other programmes for the general public to help raise the awareness of contemporary visual arts.

Festival Jarmily Novotné

We are a proud partner of the Jarmila Novotná Festival in Liteň that treasures and cultivates the legacy of the renowned Czech soprano singer and former soloist of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. The diva spent many happy moments in Chateau Liteň, the estate of the Daubek family, of which Jarmila Novotná’s husband was a descendant. The festival regularly includes master classes taught by premier Czech vocal artists such as Martina Janková and Kateřina Kněžíková (sopranos) and Adam Plachetka (bass-baritone). Proceeds from the festival are also used to help restore the chateau and the adjacent park that were severely devastated during the past regime.

Art School Open

We support Magdalena Kožená Endowment Fund’s ZUŠ Open project whose mission is broader public presentation of the activities of public art schools. Students of music, visual arts, dancing and literature/drama present their art to the general public as part of happenings held all over the Czech Republic every May and June. ZUŠ Open promotes art education as an important factor that helps children’s personalities to mature. The project is based on the idea of giving art schools a platform where children can publicly present what they have been working on throughout the year, hopefully inspiring other children to take interest in art in the process.
