Artotéka
Erste Private Banking is a partner of the Artotéka project at the Moravian Gallery in Brno. Its purpose is to create a collection of works by current talented artists, which can be borrowed by private and legal persons for a limited time. When renting a larger piece of work, the gallery will also ensure its transport and installation. The art library started operating in October 2017 and since then the collection has been constantly expanding with works by other interesting artists. As part of the project, the Moravian Gallery also organizes accompanying and educational programs for the public, which help raise awareness of contemporary art.
Festival Jarmily Novotné
We are a proud partner of the Jarmila Novotná Festival in Liteň, which preserves and further develops the legacy of the famous Czech soprano and former soloist of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. The diva spent many happy moments in Chateau Liteň, the estate of the Daubek family, of which Jarmila Novotná’s husband came from. The festival regularly includes master classes taught by important Czech vocal artists such as Martina Janková and Kateřina Kněžíková (sopranos) and Adam Plachetka (bass-baritone). At the same time, the festival helps to bring life back to the chateau and the park, which were severely damaged during the previous regime.
Magdalena Kožená Endowment Fund
We support the project of Art school Open of the Magdalena Kožená Endowment Fund, the aim of which is a broader public presentation of the activities of basic art schools. Students of music, visual arts, dancing and literature/drama present their art to the general public as part of happenings held all over the Czech Republic every May and June. ZUŠ Open promotes art education as an important factor that helps children’s personalities to mature. The project is based on the idea of giving art schools a platform where children can publicly present what they have been working on throughout the year, hopefully inspiring other children to take interest in art in the process.
Neuron Endowment Fund
We are a partner of the Neuron Endowment Fund, whose activities significantly contribute to increasing the prestige of Czech science in our country and in the world. We believe that scientific knowledge is the driving force of every successful society. As part of this cooperation, we strive to contribute to the interconnection of the world of science and business. Part of our partnership is also the support of junior scientific conferences, because, like the whole of Česká spořitelna and the Česká spořitelna Foundation, the topic of children's education is important to us. With support, we want to start in schools so that children can learn science in full and with joy.
The endowment fund supports research in fields such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science, and awards the Neuron Prizes to the best scientists in the Czech Republic. It organizes discussions between representatives of science and personalities of Czech business and patrons, who act as a platform for sharing inspiration and new opinions.
